Her Voice is a group exhibition presented by the Turkish American Visual and Performing Arts Association (TAVPA) in honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month. Opening in March at SPACE at Adolphus Tower, the exhibition is curated by artist Nur Gürel and features women artists who have been studying and developing their artistic practice under her guidance.
The exhibition brings together primarily amateur women artists, many of whom are exhibiting publicly for the first time. Through painting and personal narrative, Her Voice explores identity, womanhood, and creative expression, transforming a studio-based learning experience into a shared cultural dialogue.
